兩個電晶體可組合成單穩態 RS 振盪器,
稍加變型成不穩態振盪器(用在 Apple II 的時鐘 14.318 震盪).
NAND/NOR RS正反器加上一些閘之後組成 JK- ff, D-ff, T-ff,
其實為基礎中之基礎電路,
運用之妙可以大幅精簡電路.
如下電路示範 RS 正反器經由 RC 電路轉變成 T 型正反器電路.
