I use external USB Keyboard is fine.

keyboard has IC to identify which key is pressed by user
and then sent key to mainboard.

I guess,keyboard failed probability > mainboard failure

If you using external keyboard is fine it means you PC main board and system working properly.

Try to get a replacement laptop keyboard replace it. You may easily to find and learn how to replace you keyboard  from video in youtube. Good luck.

There is no IC inside the laptop keyboard. There are only dry contact switchs layout with FPC (film printed circuit) inside the laptop keyboard.
